Meditation

What is Meditation? Why is it useful?

Instead of digging into your past to contemplate what this is,
Instead, create, from this moment a new definition of what meditation is,
Because otherwise, you are describing what meditation was,
And what it has been called. Otherwise, you are not meditating!

Meditation:
*med- "to measure, limit, consider, advise"
mederi "to heal," medicus "physician," Skt. midiur "I judge, estimate,"

What is meditation?

Don:
The measurement of a state of consciousness,
A healing of the self, of the advisor - a measurement of being.
An estimation and judgement of the moment.

Meditation is always happening.
What is referred to as meditation is the conscious choice to
observe the Self.

Most current meditations focus on the Self within.
Many religious meditations focus on the Self without.
Some focus -
Some defocus -
Some don't do anything at all.

Formal meditation is valued above and beyond normal,
Only because of the power of intention to cultivate awareness.

Meditation is the manifestation of the desire
For the Real.

Meditation, for me, is a humble plea to All,
For Oneness in Harmony.

Yet IT is beyond meditation.

IT lies in Exultation!
